铁路车辆的分类主要分为客车和货车两大类。在客车类别中, further divided into ordinary-speed passenger trains and high-speed EMU trains. The ordinary-speed passenger trains include models such as 25T, 25G, 25K, and 22B, with various carriage types such as hard seats (YZ), hard berths (YW), soft berths (RW), high-grade soft berths (GRW), dining cars (CA), luggage cars (XL), postal cars (UZ), and air-conditioned power cars (KD), among others. Some models also feature sleeping cars (SY). High-speed EMU trains encompass the CRH1, CRH2, CRH3, CRH5, and CRH380 series, each with different specifications such as long, short configurations, varying speed grades, and sleeping EMUs.
Railroad freight cars, on the other hand, are categorized based on their intended use, differentiate into general-purpose and specialized freight cars. General-purpose freight cars are designed for transporting a variety of goods without any specific requirements. These cars, such as open cars, flat cars, covered cars, insulated cars, and tank cars, account for a significant portion of the freight car fleet.
Specialized freight cars are intended for the transportation of a single type or a limited variety of goods. They are often based on the design of general-purpose cars but tailored to carry goods of consistent weight or dimensions. Sometimes, these cars operate on the railway with special methods, such as fixed configurations or special train operations. Examples of specialized freight cars include container cars, long goods cars, toxic substance cars, livestock cars, cement cars, grain cars, and special-purpose cars like ore cars.
Each type of freight car has a specific代号. Open cars are represented by "C" and vary in model based on their load capacity, such as C1, C50, C60, C70, C100; covered cars by "P," with models like P1, P50, P60; tank cars by "G," including models G3, G50, G60, GD70; flat cars are categorized by their use, such as general-purpose flat cars (NX series), container-specific flat cars (X6 series), and standard flat cars (N series); and insulated cars by "B," which include water-insulated, mechanically insulated, and cold plate insulated car series. |
